The Art is Truth tee has already found its way into my wardrobe…Hmm!  Well we all need a new white tee every now and then don’t we?  here

Hangin’ Out

…I’m not sure what number these are in a long line of Converse…

Some of the younger generation think that double denim is a fairly new concept…NOT 😉  I’ve rocked a very similar combo to this many times over, in the 70s, 80s and 90s.  I’m wearing a denim shirt which I scored on sale from Anine Bing, same here  (very limited supply tho 😦 ), similar here and budget versions here and here Jeans are distressed boyfriend style (old) similar here  here and here

Processed with MOLDIV

The tee is an old favorite from, you guessed it, Zadig et Voltaire, this season’s version here or you could try this one, which I also wear on repeat here or this cheaper version here

The Converse sneaks were special edition and are now unavailable but I love plain red ones and have worn this style for years here and I also love these ones here the scarf is Zadig here and here and the belt ditto here and similar here Bag here and love this mini version here similar with 25% discount here

My sunnies are old, similar here and here and my leather gilet too, similar here here and here and a cheaper version here I’m sporting the usual hardware here  here here and my new fav commissioned piece here

So the moral of the story is that there is really nothing new under the sun!  Find your style and develop it to suit yourself and your lifestyle and you will collect lifetime pieces to wear over and over in different combinations 😉  That’s it for now folks, thanks for dropping by, Sarah x

Another look from the same photo-shoot…I’m still counting the cost of this morning’s fun ;O …here I’m wearing a beautiful aviator jacket which will be a classic for years to come (i.e. fits my style philosophy) exact here over a ripped tee, exact here with a silk cami, exact here the boots that I like with this look are these ones here

I LOOOOVE Zadig & Voltaire knitwear…the quality is fabulous and the details are second to none.  Above I’m wearing this oversize cashmere cardi here but if the cost makes your eyes water 😦 what about this one on sale from last season in grey, which in my book is one of the most versatile and useful of colors which will never date, here I’ve paired this cardi with the same camisole and black jeans to toughen up the baby pink a little.

And here I’m wearing a classic blazer, similar here That’s all the temptation I have time for today my friends ;O…thanks for stopping by, Sarah X

Rockin out in Zadig & Voltaire :D

You might have noticed by now that I have a minor (hmm!) obsession with the Zadig & Voltaire brand 😉  Just a little background on this…I first discovered the label when I was on a visit to Paris some 12 or so years since.  It was, I have to confess, love at first sight…Mr F was relegated to second position and the affair began ;O!!!

So what better place for me and my fellow aficionado photographer friend Iza to hang out for a photo shoot.  We had a blast I have to say!  Many thanks to the team in El Corte Ingles, Marbella for allowing us unlimited access for our exploits.

For these photos I’m wearing the perfect Badass leather jacket here with a basic tee and black jeans (old) similar here the bag is a perennial Zadig piece, here  My boots are Balmain (scored on sale..Phew!) here

The point of this exercise was to show that the rock boho look that the Zadig brand and I have in our DNA is not just for the young.  In fact this style is about as classic as you can get for us baby boomers who grew up in the wake of 50s Rock ‘n’ Roll and in the resulting youth culture of the 60s and 70s!

Love the deets!

There are cheaper alternatives obviously.  Just be careful that they don’t look cheap!  I like this Topshop leather jacket here but I have to admit that the softness and suppleness of the Zadig brand would be tough to beat.

More on looks from this photo shoot over the next few days.  As always thanks for stopping by, Sarah X
