Detail of the cut…this jacket has completely earned its keep in cost per wear terms and I’m still not considering reselling it 😉 On the right, this Breton top is a classic must have in any gal’s wardrobe. The slim leather choker is from the last time that black chokers had a fashion moment LOL…one of the advantages of age I guess ;)…I bought it from Coach on a trip to New York City maybe 12 years ago!
Fab new cross-body studded number from #zadigetvoltaire and a very old studded leather cuff from DSquared…defo another keeper…
…and to finish off the look black studded boots from Janet&Janet, I bought these, when we were in Spain last year, on sale and have worn them to death…
These are just a few selfies from the past few weeks showing how to ring the changes with a few different pieces. Here I’ve themed my looks around the color aqua…one of my favorites for the summer months. With the addition of some white, a print scarf and a neutral bag I have masses of possibilities…this is a great way of packing your bag to travel light. 😉
This is such an easy style to wear and it always looks chic. Here I’m wearing a black and white striped tee…this one is from #zadig&voltaire current season. White jeans, these are #dexclothing, a very reasonable Canadian label from Montreal. The light weight parka style top is from the same brand. The bag is a classic timeless style from Marc Jacobs…the colour just adds a je ne se quoi to a rather Parisienne trend 😉
Winter weather prompted a new outfit or several as I was forced to dig out my scarves, sweaters and boots! These colors too are more suited to cooler weather than the white and pastels of the summer season. Again layers are key to cope with warmer conditions as soon as you enter a shop or a restaurant…
I’m loving the new trend for pretty (ish) denim…here I’m sporting my lovely new Zara pink, trucker style jacket. Love the soft aged feel of the denim and the comfortable oversize look. I’m wearing it over a boho style top from Denim & Supply from last summer, and jeans by Isabel Marant, new to me but recycled via the designer resale site, Vestiaire Collective. I’m really in to recycling old items and replacing with stuff that others have likewise tired of…it seems a responsible way of shopping! The necklace is one of my own designs.
Cooler days and a good excuse to sport this Zara denim jacket…loooove the oversize trucker style in pink toughened up with a bit of distressing
Lovely bell sleeves on this cotton voile blouse from Ralph Lauren’s Denim & Supply label. Jeans are from Hudson (old), this brand is a great fit and very flattering!
The devil’s in the detail…;) here a signature black leather clutch from the iconic Zadig & Voltaire brand and my favorite Chloe Suzanna boots which I’ve been able to rescue from winter storage courtesy of the cold weather…every cloud has a silver lining! ;O
we are in Spain at the moment and the weather is lovely and Spring like but a little windy with a nip in the air. Here I’m airing stuff from the back of my wardrobe…still haven’t switched over from winter to summer yet..tho today I’m in sandals – just!!
Pretty cotton print camisole is from Mes Demoiselles, the cardi a stalwart from Zadig et Voltaire, favourite utility pants, and my Chloe Marcie. On the cost per wear scale the bag has to be one of the best investments ever 🙂 !!! Justification mode x
Rockin some serious hardware on my sandals – and the first pedi of the season – not sure about the coppery gold colour, or the pallid feet! Sarah x
