My photographer pal Iza and I headed out for a photo shoot in Puerto Banus early on Sunday morning {to avoid the crowds}. I was armed with several changes of tops to show how to get different looks to go with the pink jeans BUT it was soo cold and windy that I ended wearing them all at the same time. Hence the post has morphed into a lesson in transitional layering!
So I’m wearing standard rock n roll meets boho fare {no surprise} but by choosing pastel shades I’ve kept the look light and airy for the warmer seasons, that are yet to arrive btw! My leather biker is an old one from Massimos Dutti {part of the Zara group} similar here and here and here mine has certainly earned its keep. I’ve layered it over a grey waterfall cardi from my fav Zadig and Voltaire {old} similar, and on special offer YAY!, here or this one here and similar here
The jeans are Zadig here and have the cute turn-up to turquoise which I love, cheaper option here My camisole is also Zadig here similar, less expensive here the scarf is also by Zadig, no longer available, but similar here …on sale if you hurry!
The boots and bag are both from Chloe, obviouly investment pieces, here and here
Style Philosophy~buy fewer clothes and better quality, look after your items, and Cost per Wear = LESS money!
My sunglasses are Raybans, my all time favorites here
Over time I have curated a great collection of mix and match pieces that I wear over and over. If you are starting out, don’t expect to do it all at once, little by little change your way of shopping.
Non of my stuff goes to land~fill. If I’m not making the most of my clothes I sell them on a consignment site…you can’t do that with cheap stuff.
Lastly, judging by the comments on my Insagram post, I have to apologize for cornering the market in blue skies…sorry! ;(
Once again, thanks for stopping by my friends, Sarah X
Hello! So happy to have found you. Just new to blogging and instagram- it is a strange new world- hard to find sassy babyboomers who are on my wavelength. The reason I am entering social media is that my literary agent says I must have a SM following to be able to publish my book ‘Sexy at 70’ .
Hi Eva, thanks for following me, appreciate it! I started blogging to promote the books that I wrote and self published on Amazon!!! Now I’m blogging rather than writing…but never say never! x
Can you give a rock imprint to the romantic pastels, you are the King Midas of the Rock style 😎😀👍
Aw thanks babe 😎🎸😜😘😘
