Sometimes we get a little staid in the way that we view our wardrobes. Day wear, evening clothes, work stuff, casuals…I like to break the rules and mix things up!
Style Philosophy: Let your imagination run free and try different combinations: of colors, weight of material…for instance the summer dress that you are longing to wear styled with boots and a cozy sweater can cut it as a winter outfit…and, as in this case, try casual wear with a key evening piece.
When your wardrobe becomes more versatile it is much easier to justify the higher cost of some ‘good’ pieces (for instance I almost always choose natural fibers which tend to be more expensive but feel better next to the skin).
Here I’m wearing a striped tee (old) similar here under a tux here and with skinny jeans (old from Zadig & Voltaire) this season’s equivelant here For those of you who have been trying to track down my jewelry edit…I’ve finally managed to link to some pieces that have not sold out (for now anyway) rings here and here and here pendants here and here
Zadig and Voltaire have at last released this season’s version of this lovely and versatile little beauty that has received masses of compliments, and its here and definitely in stock as I go to press 😉 The boots are also old and I can’t find anything similar 😦
My watch, which you may have noticed that I always wear 😉 (cost per wear = free!!!) is at least 15 years old from Fendi, similar here I like the bi-metal mix as it adds to its versatility…I can wear with silver and gold jewelry, and it segues nicely from day to night…which takes me full circle really.
That’s it for now folks. Thanks for calling by, and I wish you all a very relaxing weekend. Sarah x
