Here I’m wearing an outfit in pink tonal colors…I love tone on tone, and I think that a dusky pink rocks. I mentioned on Instagram that I remembered Biba, Mecca of fashion, in the late 60s and early 70s, situated on London’s Kensington High Street. More accurately I was incarcerated in a girls’ school in the middle of nowhere and resorted to begging my mother to buy (Yes you had to pay) the Biba catalogue for me. (Oh how I wish I had kept the 2 copies that I exhorted from my long-suffering parent.)
I did visit once, as a star struck teenager, and this color is one that remains in my mind as synonymous with Barbara Hulaniciki’s iconic brand. I actually bought a long sleeved fitted tee which I wore and wore until it fell apart…no change there then 😉 Stella McCartney too, uses a preponderance of this color; I like to think that she was inspired by her mother’s wardrobe from this era.
I’m wearing a boat necked sweater, similar here and a lighter shade, here skinny jeans here and you can just get a peek of my lace cami here My biker jacket is a burgundy shade which compliments, similar here I’m wearing my black and burgundy boots from Balmain (currently obsessed and also gotta back up my cost per wear theory ;O) here but I’ll also wear these here with the outfit. I’m carrying my Zadig & Voltaire studded box bag which is now right out of stock…but this one is similar and also lust worthy 😉 here

All these pieces are old, well worn and well loved. On the cost per wear scale they were probably completely free ;D Similar here and here and here I’m considering buying this Givenchy shark tooth key ring and modifying it for neck wear 😉 here
That’s it for now folks, thanks for stopping by. Sarah x
I love that necklace, those layers are to die for!!
