This morning’s photo shoot, which started at Marbella Club Hotel at the instigation of my fabulous photographer Iza Yarczyn, was a real temperature challenge from the start…When I set off at something unearthly to 9.00 (It is a Sunday) the air was chiiiilllly….by the time we finished and stopped for coffee I had shed all but one of my multiple layers. The lesson is: in a variable climate layers are the BEST way to go!
Here I’m wearing four layers having already shed the striped sweater! All of these are basic items in my closet and I wear them on rotation. The cardi-coat is light weight and cosy, exact here similar here and here I’m wearing it over a velvet hoodie, a recent purchase during my trip to Madrid) similar here and a silk blouse from Zadig and Voltaire (old) similar here and here over an oversize t-shirt exact here and one I would wear 😉 here I’m wearing black button front jeans similar here and here
My cap is from Maison Scotch, similar here and my bag, exact here and similar (one of my favorite new bag brands) here and the striped sweater similar here and here

A funky close up showing my necklaces, the large horn pendant is from Spanish brand Uno de 50 (old) similar here and the skull exact here
Above my bag and boots in detail, similar here and here I find this style of boot soo comfortable and, I suppose they are a teensy weensy bit badass 😉

The belt is another treasured piece from #zadigetvoltaire (old) but exact here and my sunglasses are Carrera similar here and here

Well my friends I hope that you enjoy this glimpse of Marbella life as much as we enjoyed shooting the story…until the next time…hugs and XXXX….besos a mi amigas espanoles Sarah, ake Badassbabyboomer
Love the layers! You are always so fabulous at making layers look effortless!
Thanks soo much sweetie…I get lots of practice here. The day starts at around 7 C and by lunch time can be over 20 C and then back to cold as soon as the sun goes down…a bit of a challenge wardrobe wise 😉 x
