Transition Styling – Layering Up for Fall

Processed with MOLDIV
Here I’m showing a few ideas for casual wear.  The looks are built up from basic pieces, most of which have resided in my closet for several seasons. As I’ve said before I’m more interested in cost per wear math than buying something cheap, tho i do have an eye for a bargain ;

In the above photo I’m wearing boyfriend jeans, these are old from #denim&supplyrl, a feminine blouse in soft cotton voile (a perennial fav of mine), new from #IsabelMarantEtoile via  The cardi is super fine and light weight, perfect for in between seasons, from #Zadig&Voltaire.  The sneakers are new Adidas, super comfy in soft grey suede, I’ve lived in these since they arrived from My Theresa earlier in the week…see Instagram photos!  The bag is an old favourite from #Chloe and the sunnies are by #carrera – I rarely stray from my love of Aviator style glasses.

A shot of the cute blouse.  I’ve toughened it up in my usual style with random silver jewelry, all old, and a spiked white leather belt from Zadig & Voltaire.

Here I’m wearing the same cardi over a t-shirt from the same brand with white jeans – Oo la la after Labour Day 😉 … Badasses don’t follow rules ;0

Here I’ve switched my bag for an old faithful from the Spanish brand #BimbayLola …it holds a lot of stuff and just exactly matches the blue in the print of the T

Above I’ve just switched up the look a bit with a long sleeve t-shirt from #AmericanVintage …love the soft cotton of these tees which gets better with age…

Here I’ve switched the asymmetric cardi for a long duster style – American Vintage again – and brought out another bag…Hm!  I think I’m addicted!

Baby Boomer speaks for itself, yes I am a woman of a certain age ;) Why Badass? I have Rock & Roll in my DNA, coupled with some Punk Attitude and a (Lovin) Spoonful of Hippie Chic. Altogether BABB ;O The blog is not intended to be age specific, or indeed age appropriate! It is more about my style philosophy. The blog is to help girls and women of all ages to become more confident in expressing who they are through the way they dress. Mine are style tips and tricks based on years of styling, and an extensive knowledge of the fashion industry. My shopping advice is suitable for those with a limited budget, those who are strapped for cash, and for the lucky ones who have cash to splash. Personally I mix it up, marrying high street with high end to achieve my unique look. I hope that you will enjoy my new blog, Sarah x
