Mixing old and new for authentic style…

Processed with MOLDIV
Today’s look…a tad nautical in black and white…here I’m wearing a jacket #bymalenebirger (very old but still divine…love the detailing and the curved front seam), my favorite worn to a thread boyfriend jeans #denim&supply, a classic striped Breton top #zadigetvoltaire and cross body bag from the same designer.

Detail of the cut…this jacket has completely earned its keep in cost per wear terms and I’m still not considering reselling it 😉  On the right, this Breton top is a classic must have in any gal’s wardrobe.  The slim leather choker is from the last time that black chokers had a fashion moment LOL…one of the advantages of age I guess ;)…I bought it from Coach on a trip to New York City maybe 12 years ago!

Fab new cross-body studded number from #zadigetvoltaire and a very old studded leather cuff from DSquared…defo another keeper…

…and to finish off the look black studded boots from Janet&Janet, I bought these, when we were in Spain last year, on sale and have worn them to death…

Baby Boomer speaks for itself, yes I am a woman of a certain age ;) Why Badass? I have Rock & Roll in my DNA, coupled with some Punk Attitude and a (Lovin) Spoonful of Hippie Chic. Altogether BABB ;O The blog is not intended to be age specific, or indeed age appropriate! It is more about my style philosophy. The blog is to help girls and women of all ages to become more confident in expressing who they are through the way they dress. Mine are style tips and tricks based on years of styling, and an extensive knowledge of the fashion industry. My shopping advice is suitable for those with a limited budget, those who are strapped for cash, and for the lucky ones who have cash to splash. Personally I mix it up, marrying high street with high end to achieve my unique look. I hope that you will enjoy my new blog, Sarah x
